Increased SPAM Filtering Added to Our Mail Server

We spent a considerable amount of time today trying to improve our mail server's spam settings to try and prevent more spam from reaching our server. Andres and I agree that SPAM and the problems it causes our mail server are our biggest technical problem we face as a company. And we're not alone either...

I've recently received a couple calls from clients that host their own email asking for advice on how to best minimize spam. Outside of our family of clients, the Internet as a whole is being choked with spam. Any source of spam stats will show what a huge problem it is.

We'll keep an eye on our recent improvements to see if they in fact do reduce spam. So far the changes have been in place a few hours and I already think I see a reduction in spam (I get A TON of spam because my email is on several public websites both for my business and my clients).
